We will use 2 Corinthians 4:16-18; 5:1-8, and Luke 10:17-21, to see the authority and power Jesus gave us over Satan and his wicked forces: (4:18) “…we do NOT look at the things which are seen, but (we DO look) at the things which are unseen….” (5:7), “For we walk by faith, and NOT by sight.” And (Luke 10:19), “…nothing shall by any means hurt you (us).
We are and have been faced with many planned things for power-grabbing, intended to destroy the economy, silence the churches, end law enforcement, and paralyze freedom based on the Constitution, but God commands us NOT to look at what is seen, for these things, although evil, are just temporal; whereas, God’s commands us TO look at the things which are unseen (their repentance, God’s forgiveness, Christ coming for His body, the church), for Jesus’ promise in Luke 10:19 still stands and forever will stand.
As long as we refuse to thank God for and in everything (Ephesians 5:20; 1 Thessalonians 5:18), and look at our nation being destroyed, we will continue being fearful, depressed, and controlled, but the moment we allow the Holy Spirit to divert our attitude away from seeing the evil, to giving thanks to God, in the name of our Lord Jesus; then Christ, our Peace, fills us (Ephesians 2:13-14; Philippians 4:4-7). It happens every time—every time! Try it!
When God, in His written word, the Bible, or when Christ Jesus, the living Word, tells us something, Psalm 119:89, says it is forever settled in heaven and cannot be changed or annulled.
Therefore, we can trust God and His forever-settled-in-heaven word over everything happening around us, locally, nationally, and globally; for God, in His word has already told us all this would happen, but God also told us in Hebrews 13:5-6, 5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
This is a promise from the LORD God, our Creator-Owner! It is far better to look at the unseen fulfillment of God’s promises (Hebrews 11:13-16), than to look at the things we see unbelievers doing.
By reading Genesis 11:7; we assume God mingled (confound, confused, intermixed), people’s languages; however, Genesis 10:5 and 25, say from Noah’s three sons (the wording in Genesis 5:32 make it appear Noah’s three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth, from whom all nations and nationalities descend, were triplets, for all creation died in the flood); thus verse 5 says from Noah’s three sons, “From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.” And, verse 25 says, “To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.”
From this, we understand languages, nationalities, skin colors, and places of habitation were done according to God’s will, before Genesis 11, at the Tower of Babel (which is only an explanation of WHY God mingled the languages by families), because people (groups of families) refused to go where God willed for them to go, so God separated their languages according to their nationality and location He was sending them to inhabit (Acts 17:26), but this principle is simple to understand, when we understand Christianity is a Person, Christ the Head of His body, the church worldwide.
For God uses this exact same principle in 1 Corinthians 12:12-20, to explain the united function of the individual members of Christ’s body, the church worldwide; especially see it in verse 18, “But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.”
God placed all peoples in their individual nation (Acts 17:24-29), according to their families, languages (and dialects—Judges 12:5-6) , skin color, and culture, as it pleased Him, just as He places every individual member of Christ’s body, the worldwide church, according to our God-given functions, call, skin color, nationality, and language; thus, making Christianity a Person—Christ the Head of His body, the church worldwide, so thank God for allowing us to be His individual yet corporate body parts.
Look at Jesus Christ explained within God’s word, the Bible, and stop looking at satanic confusion to manipulate and divide us, so we look at the devil’s wicked tricks, instead of looking at God’s word, the Bible, the only truth. Do not allow people, especially disbelievers to manipulate us, for manipulation controls the mind, and the mind controls the person, instead of God, our Creator-Owner, controlling our mind (Isaiah 26:3).
Think God’s way; not the way manipulators want us to think, so they can control us!
