The Spirit Of Prophecy

Joel 2:25-32 is where the Prophet Joel not only explains what would happen in Acts 2:1-21, but also what will happen during the last days between the second three and a half years of the tribulation, and Christ coming to reign from King David’s throne in Jerusalem, Israel.

The adverb “afterword” in Joel 2:28-29, that means “at a later time” is referring back to verses 25-27, when God restores to Israel what the Antichrist has taken from them, because Romans 11:25-26 reveals when Christ comes to midair to call His bride-body-church to come up where He is, “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in”; therefore, God will no longer deal with Gentile repentance, but only with Israelites knowing Jesus as their Messiah-Christ, for Revelation 7:1-17 reveals that one hundred and forth-four thousand Israelites, twelve thousand from each of the twelve sons of Jacob, except the tribe of Dan, which is not listed in the grouping.

Revelation 7:9-17 seems to explain the Israelites scattered to all nations, who are mixed and not pure Jewish from one of the twelve tribes, have their sins forgiven by the blood of the Lamb, but are tortured and killed for their steadfast worship to Jesus, the Messiah, the resurrected Christ.

The seven-years of tribulation under the Antichrist will be worse than anything that has ever been or will be, yet the Holy Spirit will still be guiding, comforting, and speaking through them.

When, in Joel 2:28-29, the Prophet says, 28 “Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. 29 In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike.

Thus, when this happens equally to men and women, and both men and women “prophesy”, Revelation 19:7-16 shows preaching Jesus is “the spirit of prophecy” and is what both men and women will be doing, when Christ comes to earth to conquer it and begin His reign.

Those of us living in this generation are witnessing “the falling away” that 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 says happens before “the man of sin, the son of perdition” is revealed, for God’s timing is the only thing keeping the man of sin (Antichrist) from being revealed, yet we are witnessing people angry over anything to do with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Israel, or Christian; thus, the “falling away” is revealed in how many pastors quit annually and the steep decline in church attendance, yet people do not connect these things to the Lord Christ coming to midair to call His bride-body-church to come up to be forever with Him.

Likewise, very few people understand Jesu is speaking through the Prophet Joel, says both men and women will “prophesy” or preach Jesus, so if we refuse to allow women preachers to replace the hundreds of men preachers that annually leave their pulpits, churches will not exist. Churches desperately need godly lady pastors.

Acts 1:12-15, tells us about “a hundred and twenty” of both men and women were present in the Upper Room, on the Day of Pentecost (fifty), when the Holy Spirit began speaking through them, in tongues (languages unlearned), that were understood by those 15 or 16 different languages spoken by the visitors to Jerusalem celebrating “the feast of Pentecost” (fifty days after the Passover/crucifixion).

We can deny scriptural truth, refuse to believe God’s word, and forsake our Creator, Owner, and Judge, to whom we will eventually face, and He will either says to us, “Well done, good and faithful servant” or He will say, “Depart from Me, you worker of iniquity, for I never knew you”.

This war between Israel and Hamas is the beginning of worldwide anger and selfish killing.
