The Power Of Holy Spirit Omnipotent

The Apostle Paul, in 1 Timothy 1, introduces himself, explains to whom the law is intended, explains the faithful forgiveness of grace, and how to in Christ Jesus, fight the good fight of faith, with confident expectation God rewards faith that pleases Him (Hebrews 11:5-6).

Then, in chapter 2:1-4 Paul, with godly emotional urgency, pleads for Christians, first that supplication, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks be made for all men, including all who are in authority, that we all may enjoy a quiet peaceful life of godly reverence, for this is acceptable to God, who wants everyone to be saved and know the truth about Christ Jesus.

The word “supplication” literally means to raise the white flag, surrender, or in this case to know who needs God’s help and then surrender them to God, asking Him to block every satanic evil of any kind from the person or persons.

The word “prayers” means asking God for every good thing, emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and in every way He can bless them and us, for His glory, honor, and will.

The word “intercession” means to allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us for other’s needs, and continue as long as the Holy Spirit desires to pray through us for others (Romans 8:26-28).

Praying with the Holy Spirit’s anointing (1 John 2:18-27), is an honored privilege of pure joy, but at times burdensome, for we feel God’s heart, His love, grace, and mercy for the person(s), yet we feel so much pure love for those in whom we are interceding, we willingly remain in the battle until the Holy Spirit overcomes and God’s perfect will for them is accomplished.

Then we understand why the Apostle Paul wants to affirm or solidify within us the importance of praying for others and their desperate needs in the exact same way we want and expect others to pray for us and our desperate needs, but that is what Christianity is: Members of Christ’s body, the church worldwide, helping each other, so Christ our Head has a unified body to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:4-9).

The Christian life is a good life; we are blessed, corrected, instructed, and protected by Christ our Head, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.(Ephesians 4:13-16).

Regardless of what the satanic spirits, working through people, do to us, God will be faithful to come through for us at His time, for 1 Thessalonians 5:21-24 says, 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil. 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

Therefore we must never give up on God or other Christians, but we must be loyal to Christ our Head; otherwise, we will experience 1 Peter 4:16-17, 16…if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him/her not be ashamed, but let him/her glorify God in this matter. 17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it first begins with Christians, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

All Christians are expected to obey God’s gospel, the “good news” of Jesus Christ!

These are happy joyous times; times of supplication, prayers, and intercession, for everyone to live in peace, with God’s forgiving grace, love, and mercy, so people will come to Him and find everything they need in Christ Jesus, who gave His life to make it possible.

Lord Jesus, we humbly submit to You, for Your perfect will to be done on earth in the same way Your will is done in heaven, and we praise, thank, and worship You for who You are.
