The Beauty Of Loving God First

We hear much biblical advice about the consequences of our words, for our words shape the direction of our lives; thus, continuous life-filled, biblical-encouraging words of victorious praise to God, through Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit will lift our spirit far above the satanic depression, which is the satanic spirit of heaviness in Isaiah 61:1-3, Jesus came to deliver us from (1 John 3:8).

Isaiah 61:1-3—1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, 3 to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

In the knowledge and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, we are enabled to understand 1 John 3:1-15, for here we learn the difference in those who are legal heirs and joint heirs of God and Christ, for when there is any anger, bitterness, hate, or unforgiveness in us for another, then it is obvious we have sin in us, and have not been delivered from the works of the devil, for 1 John 4:20-21 says, 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

1 John 3:1-15—1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin.

Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous (1 Corinthians 1:30). 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness (1 Corinthians 1:30) is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s (works were) righteous. 13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

1 John 3:16-23 thoroughly explains how God, who is perfect, pure love, works for, in, and through Christians, members of Christ’s body, to demonstrate God’s love for people, He wants to receive Jesus Christ, and live exclusively as a legal, loving, obedient child of God, for we know from 1 Corinthians 13:8, “Love never fails”.

Scripture says it is impossible for us to love God, yet hate the other people God created, but with our tongue we praise God and condemn people who do not agree with us, when it is just as easy to love people as it is to love God, for 1 John 4:19 says, “We love Him because He first loved us”; therefore, because God loved us first, so we could love Him, then because God loved us first, now we can also love others, and have forgiveness and loving prayer for their salvation, for God is love; therefore, God loves everyone the same—no favorites.

We can speak God’s love into our spirit, soul, and body, simply by continuously saying, “God, You are love; You loved me before I knew about You, and now through You, I choose to love everyone, people I do not know, but I ask You to forgive, bless, save, and fill them with You and Your love, as Ephesians 3:14-21 says, so they will also love others, the same way You love us.”

Keep telling yourself this until you finally believe it and start experiencing it.
