Satan Can Manipulate Us

First Peter 2 fully explains how, as Christians, we are to live as examples to our governmental representatives, so as submissive examples to God before them, they will recognize our relationship to our Creator God, who owns, compels, or controls us by love (2 Corinthians 5:14), and will allow them to marvel at the difference between being controlled by love and controlled by deception, intimidation, and usurped, selfish authority, but only God can let them see this.

As Christians, we have learned from Romans 2:4, it is not God’s severe discipline that causes us to repent of our sins, receive Christ Jesus, and submit to His Lordship, but rather it is the overwhelming goodness of God that causes us to willingly submit to His will and trust Him.

We often hear it said, “God is a good God”, but that statement places the One and only God as one of many gods; when in reality, we should say, “God is the Only God; He is good and His mercy never ends ” (Psalm 100:1-5).

God has not willed for any of our legislators to be lost, but wills for every governmental representative, from local to national, to repent, submit to Him, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit, and legislate according to His will; therefore, God commands us to unquestionably love, respect, pray for them, and never criticize, condemn, gossip, or degrade them orally or in the media—we reap what [more than] we sow (2 Corinthians 9:6; Galatians 6:7). Ask any farmer if he expect his harvest to be the same number of seeds he planted. No! He expects an abundant harvest from the seeds he planted, and so does God (Isaiah 55:8-11), so wisely guard the mind, mouth, and actions.

God will deal with legislators (as with us) when their (and our) chain reaches the jerking point, so trust everything to God’s love, care, repentance or receive His judgment.

Just make sure we believe God and His word, so we obey, and trust everything to Him.

Always remember, the first three words of 1 Corinthians 13:8 are, “Love never fails”. Make sure, as far as is our part, God’s love in us always reaches out to others so they will repent.

If and when God wills to avenge His children (Deuteronomy 32:35; Romans 12:19; Hebrews 10:30); He will first judge (call into question the lives of) His children, for God is not biased or impartial; God judges equally, according to the condition of the heart (1 Samuel 16:7; Ecclesiastes 3:17), whether in His children or in those not yet His children.

Desiring God to judge our “oppressors”, rather than us, shows an unforgiving heart, and when we judge others, we also judge God, their Creator.

Prayer-closet love and forgiveness is God’s way to protest; honest, law-abiding people with god-idols still in them, Satan uses to control them, allows him to manipulate them into a peaceful protest to be cover for the looters; otherwise, it would be easy for police to know and arrest the looters, but Satan manipulates peaceful protesters to cover the identity of the looters.

Live and walk in faith received from Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2), and the love of God (1 John 4:7-8, 12-13), to prove we are conformed to His image (Romans 8:29),

created in His likeness (Genesis 1:26-27, but notice the “him” and “them” in verse 27), so we are not manipulated to be cover for Satan’s evil; stay home and pray, be God’s light (Matthew 5:13-15), to expose and expel satanic darkness (John 16:33; Romans 12:21), but empty self of all god-idols, Satan can use against you for his evil purposes; give them to Jesus, let Him nail them and you to the cross.
