God, through the Apostle Paul, says in Ephesians 1:15-23, He gives Christians, His children, members of Christ’s body, the church, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of Christ, to enlighten our spiritual eyes of understanding, so we know the glorious value He places on His children, for He, the resurrected Christ, works His mighty power through us, and makes us sit in heavenly places in Him, far above all governments, earthly leaders, and worldly authority, for God placed everything under Christ’s feet, giving Him Lordship over everything, so the church, His body, could have “the fullness of Him who fills all in all”.
Obviously, each member of Christ’s body, the church worldwide, must obey Christ, the Head, before God’s will on earth can be done as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9-10; Ezekiel 22:23-31; Romans 8:26-30).
Holy Spirit anointed prayer, in agreement with 1 John 2:18-27, Romans 8:26-30, and Jude 1:20-25, is the essential element in the Holy Spirit revealing God’s will, through interceding (mediating) through our prayers to bring in submission, what or who is blocking His will.
Psalm 119:89 confirms God’s word is unchangeably secure, “forever settled in heaven”, and will stand against anything or anyone trying to eliminate God’s truth; thus, we must have God’s word forever settled in us, so our entirety is based on God’s truth, and not on the world’s lies.
When, in Acts 5, Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit, and fell dead, God sent great fear on the people, so many believers were saved and became members of Christ’s body, the church, but the enormity of believers and mighty miracles, aroused jealously in the Jewish priesthood; thus, they had the apostles arrested and put in the common prison, but when the Lord freed them, and the Jewish priesthood rudely questioned them, as to why they disobeyed their order to never mention Jesus’ name again, they answered in verses 29-32, 29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
The apostle’s lives were valueless to the Jewish priesthood and Roman dictators, but to God, their lives were enormously valuable to their Creator, Owner, and Provider; in the exact same way the life of every person, especially Christians and Jews, who are both God’s children, are priceless to Him, which motivates our obedience and trust in His plan, purpose, timing, and will for every tiny detail of life, so always seek the Lord as to what purpose everything serves.
