God’s Specific “Valuations”

Leviticus 27 explains how God revealed to the Levitical Priest what “value” to place on what was willingly consecrated or given to God as a love-gift, whether it be people, land, houses, or animals, and these were God’s specific “valuations”, because this was the amount of money each “consecrated” person gave the priest for the person’s consecrated gift to God. But if the person had a change of heart and wished to “redeem” or buy back his gift, five percent was added to the price he originally paid of it. But God does NOT value anything according to what people can pay for what they give God, but God’s value agrees with what people can afford.

Jesus, in Luke 21:1-4, “valued” the poor widow’s willingness to give her two mites, all she had on which to live, far above all the richest of the rich placed in the Temple treasury, for God places more value on our willingness to give to Him, than on the amount we give. Him. Job 28:12-19 says wisdom and understanding is “priceless”, which is what Colossians 2:1-3 says. God the Father and Christ Jesus, the Son, are—Knowledge and Wisdom—Knowledge and Understanding, which is why Jesus, the resurrected Christ could, in Luke 24:13-32, expound the Scriptures about Him to the two men walking with Him the seven miles from Jerusalem to Emmaus, that did more for them than they could explain, because Christ Jesus places His “value” on God’s word and they also “felt Christ’s value of the Scriptures”.

Jesus, the resurrected Christ, makes it unquestionably clear in Matthew 6:25-34, God values humanity above all His creation.; thus, God wants us to relax, trust everything to His care, for He has always provided what we drink, eat, where we live, and what we wear (Philippians 4:19), and God always will supply all our needs through Jesus Christ, so trust Him and do not worry.

Jesus, the resurrected Christ, in Matthew 12:9-14, placed the value of sick people being healed above “the hallowed Sabbath Day”, for Jesus in Matthew 11:25-30, says He is “our Sabbath of Rest”; thus, He both commands and invites us to come to Him, our Peaceful Rest—what value! Jesus, the resurrected Christ, in Matthew 27:1-10, goes back to Leviticus 27:28-29, Jeremiah 32:6-9, and Zechariah 11:12-13, to explain the “cheap value” the Levitical Priest and Judas Iscariot placed on Jesus, “Immanuel” (God with us), and what was to be done with the money paid to “redeem Jesus” the innocent, but convicted Son of Man”, which Leviticus 27:28-29, commands must NOT be redeemed, but must die All through history, from the Garden of Eden to the present, humanity has placed far more value on authority, comfort, entertainment, prestige, and wealth, than where they spend eternity, yet some even brag and reveal their “pride” of being in Hell with their partying friends—very cheap— valueless.
