God’s Preset Time And Purpose Is Keeping

Friends, do not fear or allow the “chip” planning unbelievers to alarm God’s people, for 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, clearly says, before Christ returns for His body, the church (which is fully explained in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, to comfort us), “the falling away must come first”, and THEN “the man of sin, the son of perdition”, who is being “restrained” from being “revealed”; because, verse 6 says, “…that he may be revealed in his own time” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11; Luke 9:51; Acts 2:1; Galatians 4:4), which explains the “mystery of lawlessness”, in verse 7.

Do not fear those who fight against God, for He always wins; likewise, God still wins when He fights against anyone, even the satanic forces, so choose carefully whether we want God to fight for us and win, or against us and win, for either way God wins—God fights and wins on the side that believes and obeys Him.

Do not fear those who fight against the church, for they think the only way to hurt God is to hurt His body, the church, but they either do not know Matthew 16:13-20, or refuse to believe it, for neither the satanic forces or those controlled by them, will overcome Christ’s body, the church, because Christ Jesus forever established that truth (Psalm 119:89).

Acts 12:1-4, 20-24 is a beautiful word-picture of this “forever established truth”, for King Herod tried to destroy Christ’s body, the church, but instead “an angel of the Lord struck him”, so worms immediately began devouring Herod’s body, and did so until he died— what people try to do to Christ’s body, He has the angels to do to their body (Matthew 7:1-2; Galatians 6:7-8).

Christ’s body, the church, did not write the Bible; destroying God’s word does not affect Christ’s body, the church, so the individual members of Christ’s body, the church, leave it in the Hands of God, the Word’s Author, and let Him deal with it, as He did with King Herod.

If, in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, where we read, God’s preset time and purpose is keeping “the man of sin, the son of perdition” from being revealed, who also cannot become the antichrist, who “sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (verse 4), enforcing the mark (maybe a chip?; Revelation 13:11-18), until there is a temple built in Jerusalem, Israel.

God’s forever-settled-in-heaven word (Psalm 119:89), assures these things must happen, for God’s will is NOT for His people, Christ’s body, the church, to fear what is coming upon the earth (Luke 21:25-28), for He told un in advance, so we would trust everything to His will for us.

Since Jesus, the resurrected Christ, commands us not to fear unexpected things that are beginning to come and will continue, then Christ, our Head, wants His body, the church, to accept Him as our Peace (John 16:33; Ephesians 2:13-14), so let Him be our Peace, expelling the satanic spirit of fear and control (2 Timothy 1:7, 1 John 4:12-13, 18).

Christ Jesus built His church (Head and body), and the Head fights for His body, and wins!

Read 2 Corinthians 4:16-18; 5:1-8, and then by faith, “see” what only the spiritual eye sees (1 Corinthians 2:14-16). [This is fully explained in a series of future posts.]
