In reading 2 Samuel 22:29-34, we get a partial understanding of who God is to us: God is our light in darkness, our quick mobility, He makes our way perfect, His word is proven true, a shield to all who trust Him, He is the Only God, a solid rock of stability, our strength and power, and His firm, reliable, steadfast, unmovable, relationship with His body, the church worldwide.
The more we know about God, the more we trust Him, for the revelations of who God is continue as we continue trusting everything to His faithful, loving care (1 Peter 5:7).
Psalm 118:8-9 assures us trusting the Lord is better than trusting people. Why? Because only God knows the end of things from their beginning, for God is in our past, in our present, and at what we call the end of our future, but biblically there is no end. God is omnipresent—present in all places at all times. God is all knowledge and wisdom in everything; therefore, God is always faithful or full of faith, meaning He can always, always, always be trusted.
Our government officials are not evil, they simply do not know God’s plan for the nation, know how, or want to know how to ask for God’s will in every situation; yet we heard “national calls to prayer” at the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, and we prayed for our representatives, for those who say they protect and provide for our health and safety, and we are still praying for them, because we know at times, God has to do something dreadful to get our attention on Him, for He knows He is our only help and hope in every situation, and not just in the desperate ones.
Bible study, prayer, and obedience to God and His word, are the pillars of victory in Christ Jesus, for they promote honesty, love, truth, and caring for one another, destroying socialism.
Christianity—Christ the Head of His body, the church worldwide—is democracy, liberty, and justice for all; whereas, socialism is Satanism—Satan trying by force to impeach God, destroy Israel, and the church, the same way he and one third of the angels tried before to impeach God.
This is Satan against God; Antichrist against Christ, and satanic spirits against the Holy Spirit.

Therefore obedience to God and His word is still the wisest, peaceful, and safest choice.
