From Proverbs 29:11, we know a fool (Psalm 14:1), quickly speaks his/her selfish anger, but the wise (Jeremiah 9:12), know anger fuels anger, so we listen to the Lord before speaking.
From Proverbs 18:21, we learn death and life are in the POWER of the tongue, the spoken word, and this is why Deuteronomy 30:19-20, commands us to choose life and blessing instead of death and cursing, because our choices affect our length of life, our descendants, and also our relationship with God. So learn from our mistakes, how to fervently guard our mouth (James 3:1-12), which daily requires intense prayer, self-examination, and Holy Spirit enablement.
Everything in life depends on the choices we make: life or abortion, murder, overdose, suicide; chemical dependent or overcomer, believer or rejecter of bible truth, helper or hurter, lover or hater, humble or arrogant, tither or robber (Malachi 3:8-10), association with the wise or foolish (Proverbs 13:20; Matthew 25:1-13; 1 Corinthians 15:33-34), accepter or rejecter of the Lord Jesus Christ, His body, the church, and Israel.
We cannot change people, but we can allow God to change us (2 Corinthians 5:17), so we can love people, pray for them, forgive them, and trust them to God’s care (1 Peter 5:5-7), for their earthly future and their escape from the eternal lake of fire, depends on choosing to let God change them, and likewise, we must let God change our thoughts, words, and actions.
Do not be haughty or proud, but remember when it took all God’s attributes to turn us around (Psalm 85:4-13), empty us of our self-centered desires and then fill us with Him (Ephesians 3:14-21; 4:13). Since God did that amazing miracle for us, then God can also do it for others.
Romans 2:4 shows it is always God’s goodness and not His judgment that gives us the enabling desire to ask for and receive forgiveness, receive a peaceful, sweet relationship with Him, to be like God when dealing with those who do not have a personal relationship with Him.
Love for God, others, and obedience to God and His word are the wisest choices we will ever make, but time for Gentiles to receive Jesus Christ, as Lord, Master, Owner, and soon coming King, is swiftly coming to a close (Romans 11:11-27), so begin preparing now; NOT for His second coming, but for His coming to mid-air, to call His body, the church, His bride, to come up where He is (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Revelation 4:1-11).
Christ’s second coming is partially explained in Ezekiel 47:1-12; Zechariah 14, and Revelation 22:1-5, for these two comings are vastly different and years apart, but very real, so do not argue God’s word, just believe God and trust everything to His care (1 Peter 5:5-7), for He knows all.
