The Good And Faithful Servant

Today, sending the sixth post in the series from Matthew 8:28-34, 9:18-28; Mark 5:1-43, 6:1-6, and Luke 8:26-56, to show all God’s creation who come to Him through Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, either come to Him for our needs or for the needs of someone else, but all who come to Jesus, or have Jesus come to them, know Jesus is the answer to whatever we face.

Jesus did not touch or speak to the demon-possessed man, but Jesus did speak to the 2,000 satanic, unclean, demons controlling and driving him to cut himself with sharp stones in a suicidal attempt to free himself of their torment, but when Jesus spoke the demons begged Jesus not to send them into the lake of fire, but instead into the 2,000 pigs, so they caused the pigs to drown in water.

Jesus both touched and spoke to Jairus’ twelve-year old dead daughter, and when He did, life immediately came into her, and she lived, got up, rejoicing, and ate something.

Jesus did not touch the woman with the twelve-year issue of blood, but He did call her “Daughter”, when in her steadfast faith she touched Jesus’ clothes, and was completely healed.

It does not matter whether we, in faith and love, touch Jesus, or whether Jesus in love and power touch us, the results is always what we need.

Matthew 5:30-34 is the difference in the results of multitudes of people without faith in Jesus, touching and bumping against Jesus, and one person full of faith in Jesus, touching Him for a need, for only the woman’s faith in Jesus, received Jesus’ healing power; thus, faith in Jesus makes all the difference.

Jairus knew his little daughter was dying when he left home to find Jesus and bring Him home with him, begged Jesus, in Mark 5:22-23, to come home with him, lay His hands on his daughter, so she would be healed and live, and Jesus honored Jairus’ steadfast faith, even strengthening Jairus’ faith, in verses 35-36, after Jairus had witnessed the healing miracle of the bleeding woman.

Jesus always performed impossible miracles for others, to strengthen our faith in Him, so we can trust all our problems to Him, so we no longer fear or worry about them.

One of the greatest faith-strengthening needs we have for Jesus is the fear of death, as we read in Psalm 23:4 and Hebrews 2:15, for during the controlled coronavirus pandemic, people were afraid of dying or losing their jobs, so they accepted the covid vaccine, we heard killed about as many as the coronavirus did.

As long as we fear death or lost wages, we will never have the faith in Jesus needed to trust Him with every detail of life, although we want to trust Jesus, because 1 John 4:12-18, shows when we love God and everyone He created, the Love God is, will become perfect in us, and will drive out the satanic demonic, tormenting spirit of fear, for we are then filled with the peace Jesus is, as we also see in Ephesians 2:13-14, Philippians 4:7, and Colossians 3:15.

The perfect peace of God that Jesus is, cannot and will not remain in us, to guard our heart and mind, when we intentionally choose to allow the satanic demonic spirit of tormenting fear to control our thinking, speech, and actions, for this is not God’s plan, purpose, and timing for anything in the life we “steward” for Him, so be a good steward of the life entrusted to you, so you are not ashamed when you kneel before Him to either hear His, “Depart from Me”, or “Good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord”.
