Blessings and Trouble Are Allowed by God

We are seeing post on FB about the old days were peaceful and people cared for each other, and that was good, but we now live in a very different generation of anger, hate, disrespect, and murder, where troubles and blessings sometime appear together, for we do not know which comes next, but Scripture says, “God sends both blessings and trouble” to reveal our attitude and character, so we can give it to Him, so He can change us.

Moses, in Exodus 4:10-12, argued with the Lord that his speech-problem excused him from going to King Pharaoh with God’s command, to let His people go from his cruel slavery.

It is hard for us to believe God makes people the way He wants us, and not necessarily the way our parents want us; therefore, we should accept the way God made us, and allow Him to make the changes necessary—if any—to fulfill His plan, purpose, and timing for us.

Ecclesiastes 7:1-14 commands us to attend funerals rather than parties, for funerals make is think of dying, so we can plan for eternity with Christ Jesus; whereas, parties make us believe we will live forever, so we never plan our eternity until death makes it too late. Here we are told asking for the old days is foolish, because we live in the last days, where God sends both happiness and troubles, to bring out the kind of person we are, so we can allow Him to change us into the person He created us to become, so we can spend eternity with Him and not in the lake of fire.

James 1:1-27 not only tells us how to ask God to be our Wisdom, but also how to live wisely.

First Corinthians 15:1-33 is the Apostle Paul’s explanation of “Jesus’ resurrection to become Christ, Head of His body, the church”, and how sinners are resurrected as Christians, members of Christ’s body, the church, crucified to the world and the world crucified to us, so Christ can live His life through us, but when “bad people” become Christians’ best friends, they ”corrupt our Christian character”, so be sure to choose other Christians as best friends to socialize with.

When the resurrection of the dead becomes a mockery to people, then Christians should pray for them, but not socialize with them as if they were our best friends and “soul-buddies”, for that lie will soon take root in the Christian and turn us away from Christ and the truth of Scripture.

Had it not been for Jesus’ death and resurrection as the Christ, we would all still be sinners.

Second Corinthians 5:11-21 so beautifully explains a Christian’s relationship with God, through Christ, by the Holy Spirit, so we socialize with the Godhead, by love, faith, thanks, trust, and worship; thus, not needing companionship with the world’s disbelievers.

The resurrection is not a mockery, for God proves it true each time a sinner become a resurrected Christian, for all can see how different the changed person is compared to how they use to be.

Psalm 67:1-7 is King David’s “song of thanksgiving for the whole world to enjoy and do”.

Christians exuberantly praise and thank our God when He blesses us and when He does not, for inside we know both vocal and silent worshipful thanks from a pure heart and peaceful mind, does more to spread God’s holiness than choice words from our biblical knowledge. People are shocked when we say, “Praise the Lord”, when things go right or even when something does not go right, for our God deserves praise, thanks, and worship regardless of how something turns out.

We are Christians, known by our love for our God and for our worship before Him, out of a pure heart of praise, thanks, and worship, for this is what we will be doing throughout eternity, so get used to it.
