God does, and so do we, use the feminine pronouns “her and she” when referring to a “group”, as “Respect Her flag”, referring to America; thus, God also uses the feminine pronouns “her and she” in Proverbs 9:1-18, referring to Christ Jesus, and all His attributes or what makes Him who He is, and the Apostle Paul uses the feminine example, in Galatians 4:19, as he travails before God for Christ Jesus to be fully formed in the Galatian Christians, and today Christians need to be full of Christ and Him only, with no room for the world’s lustful pleasures and wealth.
Galatians 4:19 (NLT)—19 Oh, my dear children! I feel as if I am going through labor pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives.
As we read Proverbs 9:1-18 we understand this refers to “the marriage of Christ and His bride-body-church, “the wise and foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13)” or those who believe they are Christians, and those who know from the Holy Spirit’s witness in Romans 8:12-17, they truly are Christians, God’s children, members of Christ’s body, the church.
Proverbs 9:1-18 (NLT)—1 Wisdom has built her house (Christ’s body, the church, Matthew 16:18); she has carved its seven columns. 2 She has prepared a great (wedding) banquet (Matthew 25:1-13), mixed the wines, and set the table. 3 She has sent her servants (angels) to invite everyone to come. She calls out from the heights overlooking the city. 4 “Come in with me,” she urges the simple. To those who lack good judgment, she says, 5 “Come, eat my food, and drink the wine I have mixed. 6 Leave your simple ways behind and begin to live; learn to use good judgment.” 7 Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return. Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt. 8 So do not bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you. But correct the wise, and they will love you. 9 Instruct the wise, and they will be even wiser. Teach the righteous, and they will learn even more. 10 Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. 11 Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. 12 If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. 13 The woman named Folly is brash. She is ignorant and does not know it. 14 She sits in her doorway on the heights overlooking the city. 15 She calls out to men going by who are minding their own business. 16 “Come in with me,” she urges the simple. To those who lack good judgment, she says, 17 “Stolen water is refreshing; food eaten in secret tastes the best!” 18 But little do they know the dead are there. Her guests are in the depths of the grave.
God wants us to fully understand it is not the “folly or immoral” person that cause us to sin, but our own personal lust, the desired want that satisfied (James 1:12-16), not knowing Christ Jesus is all we need, for in Him, the “I AM WHO I AM”, is all the authority, knowledge, power, understanding, and wisdom, to be and do whatever it takes to escape the lust of the world, so instead of being tempted, we have a close, intimate, pure, sweet, lasting relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit—when real Christians choose to live the Bible way.
I am a laugher; my friends are all laughers. To me everything is part of God’s plan, purpose, and timing, so I prefer to laugh about everything, even joyfully thanking God for aches, pains, and problems, for they are all part of God’s plan, purpose, and timing, so we “see” what is in us as these “problems” bring our “real problems” inside us, outside, so we can “cast them on the Lord”, so He can change us. Let outside problems bring inside problems to the surface, so God can take them out of you. You will begin thanking Him and laughing about the changes.
