Praise the Lord, because of Him and good doctors and nurses, I am home from the hospital, and everything went as planned. I now have plenty of breath and strength. Trust and obey the Lord.
In Matthew 13:53-58, Jesus, whose personal title was “the Son of Man”, yet His value was, “God in the flesh”, “Immanuel, God with us”, “Savior, Salvation, Lord, Master, Owner”, but His family (John 7:5) placed little value in Him, and to those who grew up with us, we are valueless, common, but to the outsiders, who did not watch us grow up, do place value in us for the mature life we now live before them, as Jesus had value except in His hometown and family.
In Luke 13:6-9, the barren fig tree planted in a vineyard, where grapes grow, did not have value, because it was not in the right place, just as Jesus, “the Son of Man”, did not have value in His hometown and family, for He was out of place there, and the land owner questioned the keeper of the vineyard to know why the fig tree did not have fruit (value), but rather then transplant the fig tree into an orchard, where it would have value (nutrition for fruit), his plan was to dig around it and fertilize it, and if then it did not have fruit (value), it would be destroyed.
In Job 1:1-5, when each of Job’s children celebrated their birthday, all the siblings joined them in a festive celebration; thus, Job fearing his children’s partying may have been sinful, so Job always offered sacrifices to atone for the sins he feared their partying had caused, and Job did this on a yearly basis, for to Job his children’s festive birthday celebrations did not have value until he offered burnt sacrifices to atone for the sins Job believed their celebrations caused.
Because Job’s thinking was out of place, and the fear of his children sinned at their birthday celebrations, God sent Satan to take everything Job had, except his wife, home, and land, yet Job could not understand why God would do this, but in Job 3:20-26, Job confessed “what he greatly feared had happened to him, and what he believed would happen, did happen”, all because Job’s thinking and believing was in the wrong place, and in Job 7:11-16, Job’s thoughts were suicidal, by hanging, but he knew God was watching him, so he did not hang himself; thus, God allowed Satan to attack Job, so in Job 42, Job repents of allowing the satanic spirit of tormenting fear to control his thinking, so he did not trust God or his children, but God blessed Job, when he gave value to others by praying for them.
Jesus, “the Son of Man”, in agreement with Hebrews 2:14-18, became our Substitute to die on a rough cross, to destroy the devil’s works (1 John 3:8) for us, because he had bound us with the fear of dying; thus, Jesus, “the Son of Man”, the resurrected Christ, freed us from “the fear of death”, by removing from us “the fear of dying”, until we again willingly permit the satanic spirit of the fear of death to come in and control us, so we do whatever it takes to stay alive—anything.
Whenever the satanic fear of death tries to captivate our thinking, we must quickly give it to Jesus, “the humble Son of Man”, asking Him to remove this satanic spirit from us, and replace it with Himself, who Ephesians 2:13-14 says is our Peace, the same Peace God has that guards our heart and mind, through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:4-7).
