Wait And See

Jesus, the resurrected Christ, the humble “Son of Man”, the Head of His body, the church, assures us He is coming to midair to call His bride-body-church to come up where He is, to be forever with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), and He commands us to be ready when He comes for us to come up where He is.

Matthew 12:31-32 says, “Every sin and blasphemy against ‘the Son of Man’ will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, will not be forgiven in this life or in the life to come”, for “Jesus, the Son of Man” is humble and forgiving, but sin against the Holy Spirit is not humbly forgiven, so be careful how you treat the Holy Spirit, for even His name is “Holy”.

When, in Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43, Jesus used the parable of the owner sowing wheat in his field, yet tares came up with the wheat; therefore, Jesus explained He, “the Son of Man” sows “good seed”, God’s word into people’s hearts, so they can be saved and become members of His body, the church, yet Satan, the devil sows tares (fake wheat, evil people) among the good seed, among Christians, to spread false teachings to destroy the word sown in their hearts, and we have many tares (false preachers/teachers) in church leadership and on TV and social media.

Matthew 16:24-27 is Jesus’ command to “deny self-desires, take up our cross and follow Him”, meaning we must deny self-desires, live crucified (dead) to the world and the world crucified (dead) to us (Galatians 6:14), “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to (in agreement with) his works”.

Matthew 24:15-31 describes the “Great Tribulation”, after which “the Son of Man” comes, not to midair, but to the earth, to expose all the satanic false Christ’s and false prophets, whose fake miracles turned many away from Christ Jesus, the Son of Man, for then the sun will be darkened, the stars will begin to fall, and the Son of Man will be seen by everyone.

Luke 12:35-48 is Jesus description of a faithful servant opposed to an evil servant, exemplified by His parable of the wise and foolish virgins in Matthew 25:1-13, for Jesus, “the Son of Man” shows the faithful servant was constantly waiting and watching for his master to return; thus, he did what was best for his master’s servants; whereas, the evil servant did not expect his master to return; thus, he terrorized his master’s servants, cheated, mistreated, and abused them, but when the Master, “the Son of Man” returns, after the “Great Tribulation”, He will do to the faithful and evil servants, as they have done to His servants, Christians and Jews, and it will not be pleasant.

In Jesus’ parable of the widow and unjust judge, in Luke 18:1-8, He warns us, even though the unjust judge feared neither God or people, yet because the widow prayed day and night, God filled the judge’s mind with what the widow needed, until he finally yielded and gave her justice; therefore, Jesus assures us God hears and answers His children’s prayers; likewise when He, “the Son of Man” comes, He will be looking for the same type of faith the widow had, so learn to trust every detail of life to His care, for Romans 14:23 says, “whatever is not from faith is sin”.

Jesus, in Luke 21:34-38, reveals the necessity of watching and waiting in faith expecting “the Son of Man” to come “unexpectedly”, while we are “partying, carousing, and indulging in the world’s addictions, instead of praying, studying God’s word, and watching with expectant faith, making ourselves ready for the coming of “the Son of Man”, for He said He would come, and He always keeps His word.

The Apostle John, in Revelation 1:9-20, saw in a vision, “the Son of Man”, who gave John the truth about each of the “seven churches which are in Asia”, John was to write in a book and send it to each of those churches, and in Revelation 14:14-16, Christ Jesus, “the Son of Man”, with a sharp sickle He “used to reap the ripe harvest, the word of God has produced on the earth in the hearts of God’s people, both Christians and Jews—Jesus, “the Son of Man”., has this mission.
