God says in Numbers 23:13-20, He is not a man that lies, nor is He a son of man that repents, for when He speaks, He keeps His word; thus, God told Balaam to tell King Balak, he had received God’s command to bless Israel, but to never curse Israel; therefore, Balaam could not reverse it. To say this another way: God is Truth and cannot be anything but Truth, Jesus is Truth, Holy, Pure, and Perfect; therefore, Jesus, “the Son of Man” never needed to repent, for He never sinned or did wrong, which is why Him living His life through us also makes us truthful (Galatians 2:20).
This same God, speaking to Timothy (and us), through the Apostle Paul, in 2 Timothy 1:3-7, reminds Timothy of his spiritual heritage of the genuine faith first from his grandmother Lois, his mother Eunice, and was now in Timothy; thus, God through Paul reminded Timothy of the gift from God he received when Paul placed his hands on Timothy and prayed over him, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but (God has given us a Spirit of) power, love, and a sound mind”, yet God does give wicked satanic spirits to unchangeable wicked people.
Therefore, this same Apostle Paul, in Philippians 2:5-11, exalts and praises the humble Christ Jesus, “the Son of Man”, commanding us to “accept and permit the mind of Christ Jesus to be in us”, because “the humble Son of Man, Jesus Christ” gave Himself no reputation, except that of a “bond servant”, the lowest of people, and even humbled Himself much lower, to accept death on a Roman cross, yet God gave Jesus, His Son, “the Son of Man”, “the name above all names, so at the name of Jesus every knee both “should” (verse 10) and “shall” (Isaiah 45:23; Romans 14:11) bow before Him and every tongue “should” (verse 11) and “shall “Isaiah 45:23; Romans 14:11), pledge obedience to God.
God speaking through the Apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 2:6-16, explains godly wisdom among mature Christians allows us to understand why the satanic forces and those on earth who willingly allowed (and still allow) the satanic forces to control them, could (and still do) not understand why Jesus, “the humble Son of Man”, could willingly without argument or criticism, die peaceful on a cruel cross, but mature Christians know, by having “the mind of Christ” (verse 16), we do not depend on “our natural mind” for “spiritual understanding”, but rather on the Holy Spirit (verse 10), who “dictated” the Scriptures to humble and faithful people that spoke and wrote what the Holy Spirit told them.
The Apostle John, in 1 John 4:12-19, explains since God IS Love; then when we have God, we also have Love, and God/Love is “perfected” within us, to love others, which excommunicates the satanic spirit of tormenting fear, which is the same satanic evil, depressing spirit of torment the Lord sent King Saul, in 1 Samuel 16:14-23, and this satanic, depressing, tormenting, spirit is sent by the Lord, when we refuse to love God and others.
The Prophet Micaiah (mi’-ka ‘ya), in 1 Kings 22, told King Ahab he saw the LORD sitting on His throne, with His angels on His right and Satan and his evil spirits on His left; thus, the LORD asked who of them would persuade wicked King Ahab to go to Ramoth Gilead, so he would die in battle, and finally a lying spirit told the LORD he would go and be a lying spirit in the mouth of al l Ahab’s false prophets; thus, the LORD told the lying spirit to go persuade him and prevail; therefore, the lying spirit and the spirit of fear caused King Ahab to disguise himself, before going into battle, thinking he would not be killed, but a archer shot a random arrow that hit King Ahab between the joints of his armor, and he died—a lying spirit usually precedes a tormenting spirit of fear, and all spirits are controlled by the LORD, “the Son of Man”—God.
Relax, turn things over to “the Son of Man”, Christ Jesus, and trust His timing for judgment.
