Fight Satanic Spirits Through Prayer And Faith

In Galatians 5:1-6, the Apostle Paul uses circumcision to explain how trying to be right with God by fully obeying the Old Law, deliberately separates us from Chrit Jesus and His grace, for it is not any part of the Old Law that makes us right with God; but faith working through love.

Baby boys should be circumcised, not for religious reason, but for health reasons.

In 1 John 4:7-21 is where we learn how loving God, who is perfect love, and people He created, perfects His love in His children, so it eliminates the satanic spirit of fear that torments us. I have never seen God, who is perfect love, explained so beautifully.

We obviously know the nation is filled with angry people, for satanic anger is displayed in every “active shooter”, and daily satanic anger against police officers is more common than deer hunters.

Ephesians 4:25-32 shows how uncontrolled anger is sin that gives Satan, the devil, a legal place in us, to not only increase our anger about everything, but to use it against us, so we grieve the Holy Spirit. It is much easier to get Jesus to deal with our brief anger than for us to get Jesus to deal with our raging anger that we can no longer control. Just watching the daily news will anger us, but us getting involved in the world’s rage will put our satanic anger over the top.

God says it is right to feel anger at the outrageous sins of people, but we must never go to bed angry, for God wants His children to sleep peaceful and not be awake rolling and tossing in anger, fear, or worry about things we should have given to Him before going to bed.

God is the only God, and He can work astonishing miracles, but He cannot do anything about our problems until we give them totally to Him, and then trust Him with the outcome, regardless of what His plan, purpose, and timing is. Ask God, in Jesus’ name, to give us the faith it takes to fully give everything to Him, and then to trust the outcome to Him. God still answers honest prayers.

We may not think we can live God’s way, the Bible way, but when we choose to read and study the Bible, asking God to give us the faith to know, believe, and obey what the Bible says, then we will thoroughly enjoy reading and obeying Ephesians 5:1-33, but to do so takes deliberate choosing to know, believe, and obey the way God says His children are to live. By obeying God and His word will allow us to enjoy many glorious years of peaceful, loving marriage.

All my life I have been told, “The first fifty-years of marriage are the hardest, but after that, the rest is easy”. November 20, 2024, Gayle, and I will celebrate 64 glorious years of joyful marriage, so I guess we are on the “easy side” of the “fifty”.

Obviously, we are not among the “young married”, for we are “advanced senior citizens” who, by loving God and people daily eliminate the satanic spirit of fear from our lives, for the satanic spirit of fear, especially the fear of death, would like to torment us with “symptoms” of one disease and sickness after another, but Jesus has removed from us the fear of death and replaced it with the joy of living to praise, thank, and worship our Lord, Creator, and Owner.

The satanic spirit of tormenting fear is a demonic idol, for the satanic spirit of fear torments our thinking, emotions, and will, to control every part of our lives, and 1 John 5:18-21 commands us to keep ourselves in Jesus Christ, so the satanic spirit of fear cannot touch us, because 2 Timothy 1:7 says, the satanic spirit of fear separates us from the Holy Spirit’s power, love, and sound mind; thus, controlling us, by disarming our faith because it does not have love to work through to produce miracles.

Proverbs 18:21 and John 6:63 commands us to speak scriptural words of life to every situation we face in this life, for Romans 14:22-23 warns us that whatever is not (spoken or done) from faith, is sin; thus, we must think, speak, and do everything by faith in God (Mark 11:22-24), or we sin.

By praying in the Holy Spirit (tongues/languages), we can change “the once for all faith delivered to the saints” into “most holy faith” (Jude 1:3, 20), and by keeping ourselves in God, who is perfect love, we can experience amazing miracles, simply because He loves us and favors us with grace and mercy.

When we learn to go boldly to God’s throne of grace to obtain His mercy (Hebrews 4:16), and we remain there in His presence, as Hebrews 13:5-6 says, then our needs will become His needs to supply.

Amen, so let it be done.
