Let’s Make A Choice

Anyone who says they love God yet hates those He created; then 1 John 4:20-21, says they are liars, and Revelation 21:8 says they shall have their place in the lake of fire; therefore, anyone who says they love God, but refuse to read and study His word (2 Timothy 3:16-17), refuse to regularly attend a Bible-believing church (Hebrews 10:23-28), Scripture says, lies.

We cannot love God whom we have never seen (1 Peter 1:3-12) yet refuse to love people God created from one blood (Acts 17:22-34); therefore, our character desperately needs adjusting, which is called repentance (stop, turn around, go back the way we came until we find Jesus—Jeremiah 29:11-13; Luke 2:41-50).

The only way for us to know God, love God, and love the people God created, is to read, study, believe, and obey God’s word, the Bible, the Scriptures, because Jesus says in John 5:39-40, every verse of Scripture, in some way, points to Him, for eternal life is in Jesus, the Christ (1 John 5:1-5, 9-13; John 10:10); thus, to know God, we must first know Jesus (John 14:6; 6:44-45), because the only way to God is through Jesus, the Christ, by the Holy Spirit.

It does not make sense to fight against the Godhead—Father, Son (Word—John 1:1-5, 14-18; 1 John 5:7), Holy Spirit—who always wins, whether we fight Him, or He fights our enemies (Isaiah 63:7-10); thus, it is always best to humble our self, submit to God, and let Him fight and win our battles (2 Chronicles 20:15).

Get alone with God, listen to Him (Proverbs 6:20-22), and He will listen to us, in the same way we listen to and speak with our family and friends, for a lasting relationship is a two-way conversation of truth and trust, centered in God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Some people God created, owns, and controls, think they can hate God and others, and still have dictatorial rule over God’s creation, but God has a designated time for them to rise and fall (Psalm 75:1-7), so always remember Ecclesiastes 3:1-13 promises a preset time and purpose for every detail of life, so we all have our time of learning, honor, work, family, old age, and death.

If we spend our allotted time doing what seems “important” to us but is “meaningless” in God’s plan and will, then we do not “help” others find their place in God’s plan and will.

We each get one birth and death, one graduation, or we can choose to have a new birth into Christ Jesus (John 3:1-12; 2 Corinthians 5:17), and a new graduation into the eternal life God put in His Son, Jesus Christ (John 10:10; 1 John 5:9-13); otherwise, we will have one birth and two deaths (Revelation 20:11-14), with the second death of us being cast into the lake of fire.

In Deuteronomy 30:11-20, God says He has set before us life and blessing, death, and cursing, but God commands us to choose life and blessing, rather than death and cursing, and then God gives the choice to each person He creates, in each generation.

Have we obeyed God’s command to choose life and blessing or disobeyed God’s command and chose death and cursing? We do not have to wait until we take our last breath to know whether we made the right or wrong choice, for our lifestyle determines which choice we made, and the people we associate with always know the choice we make by our character and personality—we only fool us, no one else.

Who we are is how we think, speak, and act, for people know a tree by the fruit it produces.
